Summer hair = summer frizz. I have been working diligently to find a method to create a lasting, voluminous wash 'n go 'fro with definition and controlled frizz, and I think I finally discovered it using two of my new favorite products.
On wash night (I do my washing at night), I incorporated two new products to my wash 'n go regimen: Carmella Marie's MyGel Flaxseed Gel and Aubrey Organics' JAY Conditioner. My rizos were poppin', to say the least. My Gel provided the lightest of holds to secure my definition and the JAY Conditioner brought this sun and beach dried hair to life; the perfect combo to keep excessive summer frizz at bay.
I washed with my usual Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration shampoo, followed up with a 5-minute deep condition with the Aubrey Organics' JAY Conditioner, used Camille Rose Natural's Curl Love Moisture Milk as my styling product, and scrunched the Carmella Marie MyGel on my ends as the final step. The next morning I fluffed and picked out my hair to get the above results!
